Hot desk or dedicated desk? How to choose

Choosing between a hot desk and a dedicated desk comes down to one question: how much of your work depends on leaving things exactly where they are?

A hot desk is freedom. You arrive, pick any open seat in the shared areas, and leave with everything in your bag. It suits freelancers with light setups, founders who travel between cities, and anyone whose best thinking happens somewhere different every day. With 24/7 access and meeting room credit included, it is a full membership without the footprint.

A dedicated desk is gravity. The same desk every morning, a monitor arm adjusted once, a locker for your keyboard, notebooks, and the sweater you always need by 3 PM. Teams of two or three often take adjacent dedicated desks — close enough to collaborate, defined enough to focus.

Still unsure? Start with a day pass, try a hot desk week, and upgrade when you catch yourself wishing for the same chair. Most of our dedicated members started exactly that way.
